After connecting the front panel connectors,
make sure all the power cables are connected securely and
there are no stray screws lying around. Close the
casing panel and you are ready to go!
Once the PC starts up, press DEL or F1 to enter
BIOS setup, check if the BIOS clock is correct and make
the neccessary changes.
Go to advanced BIOS setup and set your CD-ROM
drive to first boot device.
Save your settings and exit the BIOS.
Put in your OS CD into your CD-ROM drive and run
Post OS setup
After you have set up your OS, make sure you
install all your necessary drivers, e.g. sound device,
graphic card and LAN drivers. Only then you can
consider your DIY-PC to be done.
