Final Setup

After connecting the front panel connectors, make sure all the power cables are connected securely and there are no stray screws lying around.  Close the casing panel and you are ready to go!

Initial Boot-up

Once the PC starts up, press DEL or F1 to enter BIOS setup, check if the BIOS clock is correct and make the neccessary changes.

Go to advanced BIOS setup and set your CD-ROM drive to first boot device.

Save your settings and exit the BIOS.

Put in your OS CD into your CD-ROM drive and run the setup.

Post OS setup

After you have set up your OS, make sure you install all your necessary drivers, e.g. sound device, graphic card and LAN drivers.  Only then you can consider your DIY-PC to be done.
